This box is easily attributable to Feodor Rückert, as it is a beautiful example of his style and technique, and a particularly charming design of a woodland scene with a family of owls, a hare, a hedgehog, and abstracted foliage and mushrooms. The work bears additional Swedish marks, indicating that it was exported back to Stockholm for sale.
