Lined canvas. Mild frame abrasion at edges. Yellowing to the varnish layer. Faint, finely patterned craquelure throughout. A vertical line of more pronounced cracking at center of upper edge, approximately 3-inches in length. Some scattered small dots of surface abrasion, loss, and visible retouching, all appearing to the stabilized beneath the varnish layer. Minor surface dust. Not examined out of frame due to size. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Some brushy retouching at edges and to the sky area and the stone flooring in the lower right quadrant. Strengthening applied to some of the mid-tone blues of the sea and to some of the pink flowers near center. Some scattered, more finely applied dots and dashes of retouching to the figures and architectural elements. Framed Dimensions 68.25 X 91.5 X 6.5 Inches
