Unlined canvas. Some buckling to canvas, most apparent under raking light. Pinholes in the corners. Some yellowing to the varnish layer. A area of discolored accretion in the background in upper center, just right of the figure's face. Faint, finely patterned craquelure. Minor surface dirt and dust. Not examined out of frame. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Aforementioned area of accretion fluoresces. Some brushy retouching in the lower half of the work, with some more finely applied strengthening to some areas of shadow around the figure's face. Framed Dimensions 29.25 X 25 X 3.5 Inches
