This work is included in Art For Good, a dedicated session within the auction where a portion of the proceeds from each sale supports a worthy charity. Ten percent (10%) of the net proceeds from this piece will go to Rush Philanthropic. New York graffiti artist LA II (a.k.a. Angel Ortiz) is renowned for his collaborations with Keith Haring. Our "Art for Good" collection features never-before-seen works from LA II's personal collection. Ortiz's career began when Haring discovered his "Little Angel" tag in New York and sought to collaborate with the young artist. Throughout the 1980s, Ortiz and Haring created murals, sculptures, and paintings, blending their distinct styles. Ortiz's unique fusion of contemporary symbols and Asian calligraphy has been showcased in galleries and museums across the U.S. This collection is the largest online offering of LA II's work, featuring a wide range of mediums from street signs to sculptures.
