A beautiful, rare first state; the final state of the work is published in Anthologie del l’Humour Noir. Sheet presents with some moderate buckling and mild handling dents, consistent with the sheet's light weight. A few minor marks throughout the sheet, none which appear to greatly impact the central image. Some mild staining along the extreme lower edge, does not extend into the image area. Bears the collection stamp of Marina Picasso verso lower left. Cornered, matted, and framed under acrylic. Framed dimensions 15-1/2 x 11 inches.
