Bunny Yeager (American, 1929-2014) Dondi Penn (5 works) Three Kodak Film negatives and two color transparencies 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches (6.3 x 6.3 cm) From the collection of Grapefruit Moon Gallery Dondi Penn was Bunny Yeager's favorite "tomboy model" and the photographer continually played up her bad-girl rock and roll spirit. No other word but wild sums up the sequence seen here of Dondi and the chimpanzee she was often photographed with, and the images captured in that same sitting of her alone in a bedroom interior are an invitation to join her in that wildness. All five views that comprise this lot are the original unique camera artifacts. This lot is accompanied by a 4 page typed model essay with handwritten notes by Bunny Yeager. Unique to this auction of Bunny Yeager material, copyright transfer paperwork for this lot can be requested directly from the consignor upon purchase.
