Various Photographers (20th Century) Group of 26 contact sheets of Bettie Page, circa 1950s Gelatin silver contact prints 10 x 8 inches (25.4 x 20.3 cm) (sheets) Inscribed in ink by Eric Kroll, verso. This lot features a very rare grouping of contact sheets from original camera club negatives that were created by Eric Kroll during the 1980s revitalization of interest in the iconic model Bettie Page. A very unusual grouping with sultry allure and an intriguing piece of Bettie Page history. This lot contains one gelatin silver contact print by Henry Forrest. Overall good condition. Group bears curling at the edges and binding holes along the left edge. Creases, silver mirroring to the margins, edge chipping and bumps to the corners. Marks in wax pen by the photographer scattered throughout images. Sheets are loose, not framed.
