• Very early color-space-body. • Graubner embarked on his quest for the maximum liberation of color in the 1960s. • The numerous layers and nuances give the “yellow-gold” color palette a spatial quality of its own. • Comparable works can be found in the Städel Museum, Frankfurt am Main, the Collection of Contemporary Art of the Federal Republic of Germany, Berlin, and the New National Gallery, Berlin . In good condition. With a minimal loss of color in the lower center, which has been professionally retouched. With a rubbing in the lower right. A tiny brown spot in the upper center. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
