- The combination of fire and smoke makes for this marevlous example of a typical Piene "Fire Gouache“. - Perfectly balanced interplay of intense colors, composition and texture. - Right after this work was created in 1977, Piene participated in Documenta 6 in Kassel. - Otto Piene was a key protagonist of the ZERO group.

In good condition. With slight mount staining.
