- The early deceased Heimrad Prem was one of the most important German figurative painters of the post-war period. - In 1958, Heimrad Prem founded the artist group “SPUR” together with HP Zimmer and Helmut Sturm. - In 1964 he participated in documenta III in Kassel.
LITERATURE: Margarethe Jochimsen, Pia Dornacher, Heimrad Prem. Retrospective and catalogue raisonné, Munich 1995, no. 960 (with b/w illus.).
Private collection, Southern Germany
In good condition. Slight craquelure in the right side of the image. The condition report was compiled in daylight and with the aid of an ultraviolet light source to the best of our knowledge and belief.
