- Nicolas Schöffer is regarded foundinng father of cybernetic art. - At the end of the 1950s he developed the concept "Luminidynamique" and began the "Lux" series. - An abstract shadow theater with changing visual effects created through rotation and incidence of light. - In 1959 and 1964 he participated in the documenta II and III in Kassel and in 1968 in the Venice Biennale. - His works are at the Center Pompidou in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
