Nom d’enchère: Japanese Woodblock Prints from The Nelkin Collection Part I Signature® Auction
Print presents well with strong lines. The condition of the work is consistent with its age. Moderate toning to sheet with marked accretions/wear primarily evident in corners/along edges. Two small wormholes, one in upper left quadrant in the negative space, the other lower right quadrant on the lower edge of the right-most figure's kimono, this masked by the kimono pattern. Moderate handling dents/creasing. Two areas of hinge tape residue on verso upper corners. Henri Vever's collector mark in red ink, lower right corner recto. Unframed.
