- An extremely rare piece in Max Beckmann's graphic oeuvre - one of only three copies known to date. - Beckmann appears to be depicting the view from his studio of Frankfurt am Main Cathedral and the bridge “Eiserner Steg”. - The first exhibition of Beckmann's graphic works took place at I.B. Neumann in Berlin in 1917, the year this work was created.
