EXHIBITED: Art Miami, Miami, "Ethan Cohen Fine Arts," n.d. Ivorian street artist Aboudia (Abdoulaye Diarrassouba) works in mixed media with a loose, expressive style that fuses elements of graffiti, collage, and portraiture. Deeply influenced by the urban environment of his youth, Aboudia frequently depicts children playing in the streets, capturing both their joy and resilience amid the challenges of city life. He often relates to their childlike spirit, reflecting his own sense of raw creativity and emotional honesty. Aboudia graduated from the CTAA (Technological Centre of Applied Arts) in Bingerville, where he refined his technique before bringing his distinctive street aesthetic into the contemporary art world. Presents very well. Unlined; faint stretcher lines; canvas is slightly slack. Crease at lower right, observed primarily under raking light, possibly inherent to the work. Some light edgewear with some cracking along extreme edges. Not framed.
