Haddon Hubbard Sundblom (American, 1899-1976) I'd Love It, Coca-Cola advertising calendar, 1954 Oil on canvas 30 x 21 inches (76.2 x 53.3 cm) Not signed I’d Love It graces the May/June page of the Coca-Cola 1954 calendar and abounds with the all-American magic Haddon Sundblom brought to his now legendary work for the company. Fittingly, the work was one of seventy subjects selected to commemorate Coca-Cola's "budding years" leading up to the "blooming seventies." Won by a bottling plant at the Coca-Cola national convention in 1969, this piece has remained in the family of a former employee until now. Unlined. Faint stretcher bar lines, observed primarily under raking light. Faint areas of craquelure, primarily observed to areas of white under raking light. Small abrasion to lower center near background figure's foot on the right. UV examined. Framed Dimensions 33.5 X 24.5 Inches
