Paul Strayer (American, 1885-1981) The Hold Up, magazine interior 1923 Oil on canvas 28-1/4 x 36 inches (71.8 x 91.4 cm) Signed and dated lower right: Paul Strayer 23 Notations on the canvas verso indicate this was published as an interior illustration in a November issue of a magazine, though we have not located the exact usage.
