The teacup with an ear-shaped handle and gilt scrollwork rim, decorated with a continuous Chinoiserie scene showing figures in various pursuits and Asiatic blooms to the interior, the saucer with a gilt strap- and scrollwork rim and Chinoiserie scene to the well enclosed within two thin iron-red bands, the cup: 5cm high, the saucer: 12.3cm diam., crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue to both, the cup with impressed "17" and gilder's mark "2.", the saucer with faded gilder's mark "9."
