- Fritz Koenig interprets the caryatid form, which was already widespread in antiquity, in a unique way. - The composition can be found in a slightly modified form in the monumental "Caryatid I" placed in front of the University of Bayreuth. - The year before “Caryatid II” was created, Fritz Koenig took part in documenta III in Kassel.
