In good condition. Slight craquelure in the impasto layers. A few loose patches of paint were professionally repaired in a previous restoration. Under UV light, isolated retouching is visible in the lower right. The special feature of this beautiful small painting lies in the material structure of the pictorial surface, which is typical of Jean Fautrier's work and creates a dynamic, at times relief-like surface.
