- “Leonie” is one of Otto Dix's most important color lithographs. - Dix exaggerates society's outsiders into dazzling and caricatured motifs in his depictions. - The lithographs and etchings from the early 1920s are the artist's most sought-after prints on the international auction market. - Other copies of this color lithograph can be found in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Kunstmuseum Bern, and the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, among others.
